Karen Barr, CNM

Karen Barr is a 1985 graduate of Marquette University College of Nursing. Karen completed a Master of Science degree and midwifery certification from University of Illinois in 1998. Over the years, she has worked in women's health in a variety of settings and has been with West Suburban Women's Health since 2014 committed to providing evidence based and personalized care to women from adolescence through menopause. In 2018 she completed yoga teacher training through Ahimsa Yoga Studios and has completed additional training in prenatal yoga. Her years of experience caring for women through pregnancy labor and birth make her uniquely qualified to guide pregnant yogis through a safe and enjoyable practice. Her personal interests include travel, hiking, singing, songwriting, and playing guitar.
